Dr. Michelle C. Salazar M. joins Queen’s University and Kingston Health Sciences Centre as Assistant Professor in the Division of Thoracic Surgery. She recently completed her fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, following General Surgery residency training at Yale University.
Her clinical training has focused on thoracic oncology and minimally invasive approaches with a focus on robotics but with experience in other minimally invasive approaches as well as open. Her research interests lie at the intersection of quality and access to care for patients with thoracic malignancies, with a focus on health services and population-based research. She holds a Master of Health Science through the Yale National Clinician Scholars Program.
