After completing my undergraduate and residency training at the Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, I worked as a specialist in the Department of Hand Surgery and Leprosy Reconstructive Surgery and in the Emergency Department of the Christian Medical College and Hospital. I then completed four clinical fellowships at the University of Toronto hospitals in Orthopedics and spine. Following this, I worked as a Senior Specialist in orthopedics and spine at several hospitals in the Middle East. On returning to Canada, completed five years of clinical fellowship in neurosurgery at Queen’s University with a special interest in spine.
