Dr. Linden Head grew up in Kingston, Ontario, attending Winston Churchill Public School and Kingston Collegiate and Vocational Institute (KCVI). He went on to complete undergraduate studies at Queen’s University followed by a degree in business administration at the Ivey School of Business at Western University. After working with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) – a global management consulting firm – Dr. Head transitioned to medicine and completed both his medical school and residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Ottawa. Following residency, Dr. Head pursued fellowship training in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and a travelling fellowship in Orthoplastic and Limb Salvage Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Head went on to complete a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In 2022, Dr. Head joined the Division of Plastic Surgery at Queen’s University where his clinical and research interests are focused on hand, peripheral nerve, and reconstructive microsurgery.
