Wade is originally from Ottawa, Ontario, where he completed his degree in Kinesiology and played varsity lacrosse with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees. He then moved to the East Coast to attend Dalhousie University for medical school.
As a former athlete, he developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal health and was drawn to orthopedic surgery because it combines technical problem-solving with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients. He enjoys helping people regain function and get back to the activities that matter most to them.
He chose Queen’s because of its close-knit community, strong mentorship, and excellent surgical training.
Outside of the hospital, Wade enjoys golfing, playing hockey, weight training, spending time outdoors, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
