Valerie was born and raised in Montréal, Québec. Prior to her residency, she completed her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology, she studied for two years in Occupational therapy and then completed her medical school at Université de Montréal. While studying, she was playing for the Carabin’s women’s rugby team.
She has a strong interest for sports medicine and wishes to be a pioneer in sustainable practices in her surgical field.
During her spare time, Valerie enjoys rock climbing, biking, seeing her friends, hiking with Nala, her 11 years old labernese, and watching rugby games.
