Sid Chard was born and raised in Kingston, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at McGill University, followed by a Master of Public Health at Queen’s University and a medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Sid is thrilled to be returning home to complete her orthopaedic surgery residency at Queen’s, where she was drawn by the program’s close-knit resident community, exceptional mentorship, and hands-on approach to surgical training. Outside of medicine, she enjoys playing hockey and soccer, sailing, running along Kingston’s waterfront, and spending time hiking and exploring the outdoors.
