Born and raised in Macedonia, Marko Gjorgjievski completed his medical education at the "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje in 2011. He is a member of the Doctor's Chamber of Macedonia and a Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada. He became a part of the Queen's University Orthopedic Surgery program in 2021 and hopes to become an Orthopedic Trauma surgeon.
Before coming to Queen’s, Marko completed a Research Fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma at McMaster University under Dr. Mohit Bhandari, where he worked on several large multicentre studies. His clinical and research interests are focused on improving patient outcomes and the prevention and care of musculoskeletal injuries.
