Dr. Diederick Jalink is an Associate Professor with the Department of Surgery at Queen's University and the Chair for the Division of General Surgery. He is the former Program Director for the General Surgery Residency Program. He earned his MD and completed his residency at the University of Calgary in general surgery. Dr. Jalink then went on to complete a Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Further, he received a Transplantation/ERCP Fellowship from the University of Western Ontario, and a Laparoscopic Surgery Fellowship from McMaster University Hospital. Dr. Jalink's clinical interests include hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, minimal access surgery, and ERCP.
