Andrew Roberts was born in Chetwynd, BC, but relocated south to Hope, BC, where he spent most of his childhood. He completed his medical degree at the University of British Columbia as part of the Island Medical Program in Victoria, BC. Andrew was yet another cliché failed athlete story that naturally pointed him in the direction of Orthopaedic Surgery. He was ultimately drawn to the specialty for its technically demanding nature and ability to definitively manage complex pathology. Andrew values the benefits of a small program that offers one-to-one interaction with staff, yet has no shortage of surgical volume. In his spare time, he can be found bouldering in the local climbing gym, lifting weights, and tackling his never-ending list of home renovations.
