Dr. Teng comes from Southlake Regional Health Centre and specializes in complex mitral valve surgery, minimally invasive and transcatheter valve procedures.

Michael Turner completed his undergraduate degree and masters at University of Alberta where he studied novel mechanisms of avascular meniscus repair, and he completed his MD at the University of Sydney, Australia.

Shaun Lampen was born in South Africa and immigrated to Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

Andrew Roberts was born in Chetwynd, BC, but relocated south to Hope, BC, where he spent most of his childhood.

Born and raised in Macedonia, Marko Gjorgjievski completed his medical education at the "Ss. Cyril and Methodius" University in Skopje in 2011.

Dr. Giles completed his medical school at Queen’s University and his General Surgery Residency at McMaster University. He obtained a Master of Public Health with a global health focus at the Harvard T.H.

Vanessa Wiseman MD was born in Lahr, Germany and being in a military family lived in several places including Gander, Newfoundland and Kingston, Ontario.

PGY5 Resident

Mufaddal Baghdadwala was born in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his MD-PhD at the University of Calgary and choose the Queen's General Surgery program for his residency.

PGY4 Resident

Linda Fei BSc MD grew up in Oakville, Ontario. She studied Medical Sciences at Western University and went on to complete her undergraduate medical education at the University of Ottawa.

Alessia Di Carlo was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Biochemistry and completed her Medical Degree at Queen’s University.
