Vincent Bissonnette was born and raised in Montréal, Québec. Prior to his residency, he completed one year in Kinesiology at Université de Montréal, medical school at Université de Sherbrooke and a Master of Science in experimental surgery: surgical education concentration at McGill University. He believes that the close-knit nature of the program both between residents and between staff and resident is what makes the Queen’s ortho program so unique. He enjoys living in Kingston because of the amazing landscape by the water. In his past time, he likes to do construction work and hockey. He actually bought a fixer-upper house in the beginning of his residency and has been renovating it since. His main interests are Arthroplasty and Trauma and he would like to complete fellowship training in these two subspecialties.
