Nikita Arora is from Brampton, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate degree and medical school at McMaster. She completed one year of residency in Public Health in Calgary, prior to arriving at Queen's. Nikita enjoys the blend of critical care and focused procedural work that General Surgery offers. Kingston is an oasis where she has built strong personal relationships with many of the staff surgeons, OR nurses and other colleagues. In her spare time, she writes poetry, parents her mischievous cat rescued off the mean Kingston streets, and lifts. She is interested in Medicine in minorities - specifically, how surgical diseases differ in presentation and management in minorities i.e. in people of colour, trans folks, women.
